The growing Raymore-Peculiar School District is located just 20 minutes south of Kansas City. The District covers 94 square-miles, primarily in the communities of Raymore and Peculiar.
Approximately 6,000 students attend the Ray-Pec schools, which include:
- Shull Early Learning Center (includes Parents as Teachers)
- Seven elementary schools for grades K-5
- Two middle schools for grades 6-8
- One high school for grades 9-12
- One alternative school (Ray-Pec Success Academy for grades K-8 and Ray-Pec Academy for grades 9-12)
- Virtual Instruction Program of Ray-Pec (VIPR) - a virtual academy for grades K-12
