Back to School 2017

Registration/enrollment

Central Registration is scheduled for:
  • 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2
  • 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8
Due to school construction projects and the upcoming work on School Road, the location for Registration will be determined and announced later this summer.

Plan to attend the central registration event on Aug. 2 or Aug. 8 to receive teacher assignments (grades K-5), pick up class schedules (grades 6-12), pay fees, view spirit wear, and more. Representatives from PTA, Apple Bus Company Staff, Child Nutrition, and health services will be on hand.

Document needed to verify residency
When you register your student(s) for the 2017-2018 school year, you must provide one document to verify residency. Acceptable proofs of residency include utility bills (water, electric or gas), in the resident's name, showing the service address. The documents must be recent (within 30 days).

More information about registration and residency verification will be coming soon.

Immunization requirements

All students must present documentation of immunization status, including month, day, and year of each immunization before attending school.
  • Kindergarten: Five immunizations
  • Incoming 8th graders: Tdap and meningococcal. (The Tdap vaccine helps protect adults and adolescents against 3 diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough. The Tdap vaccine may be documented as Adacel or Boostix. You may bring or fax the documentation to Ray-Pec East Middle School. The fax number is 816-388-4001. If you have questions, call the health room at 816-388-4011.)
  • High School: Two doses of meningococcal vaccine by 12th grade. In this two-series immunization, the first dose is given with the Tdap prior to 8th grade, and the final dose is required prior to the 12th grade year.
