4th annual golf tournament raises funds for Foundation 

It was a great day for golf Oct. 10 at the 4
th annual Foundation golf tournament at Creekmoor golf course.

Thanks to 26 teams of golfers, generous donors and sponsors, and dedicated volunteers, the event was fun and raised money for the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation.

Prizes were awarded to teams in two flights at the four-person scramble.

Flight 1 winners:
  • 1st place: Joe Anthuis, Allan Anthuis, Ryan Lowe, and Jake Miller (score of 57)
  • 2nd place: Dick Bartow, Rich Bartow, Jeff Kyle, and David McGehee (score of 58)
  • 3rd place: Jeff Williams, Jimmy Odom, Ryan Barrows, and Ron Talley (score of 58)
Flight 2 winners:
  • 1st place: Jeff Sorrells, Sean Olsen, Jeff Blohm, and Tyler Blohm (score of 68)
  • 2nd place: Brad Kiehl, Will Manda, Derek Wood, and Jeff Bennett (score of 69)
  • 3rd place: Bob Huston, Steve Croy, Pat Kittilstad, and Chris Schmidt (score of 70)

Nancy Dobbs won the grand raffle prize of a one-year membership to Creekmoor. In addition, several people won individual prizes:

  • Closest to the hole (men) – Allan Anthuis
  • Closest to the hole (women) – Sandy Dolence

4th annual tournament is Oct. 10
The Foundation announces its 4th annual Golf Tournament on Monday, Oct. 10, at The Golf Club of Creekmoor. The four-person scramble will have a shotgun start at noon. The entry fee of $100 per golfer includes lunch, green fees, cart, unlimited range balls, and a gift bag. There are also raffle prizes and opportunities to sponsor the tournament, which benefits the Foundation.
