MAD - Make a Difference 5k

Grant awardPhysical Education grant
In connection with the MAD Dash 5K, the Foundation awarded a $100 Physical Education Impact grant to Chris Roller, physical education teacher at Peculiar Elementary School. Participants in the MAD Dash 5K walk and run were able to indicate a Ray-Pec school to be entered for the chance to receive the grant. This was the first year for the grant award associated with the event.

More than 120 walkers/runners participated in the third annual Make a Difference (MAD) Dash 5K on May 6 at Raymore Recreation Park. 

Thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, or donated toward the event. New this year, the Foundation awarded a $100 Physical Education impact grant to one Ray-Pec school, and the recipient is Peculiar Elementary School.



2016 MAD Dash
The third annual Make a Difference (MAD) Dash 5K walk/fun run was Friday, May 6, at Raymore Recreation Park. The MAD Dash is a benefit for the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation. Check-in and registration began at 6 p.m. May 6. The Dash began at 7 p.m.

New this year, the Foundation will award a $100 Physical Education impact grant to one Ray-Pec school. For every paid registration, the designated school will be entered into the drawing. The winning school will be selected at the walk.
