For the second consecutive year, the District has achieved a 98.9 percent score on its Annual Performance Report (APR) from the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
The 2017 report includes student achievement data, graduation rates, attendance rates, and college and career readiness indicators. The report measures how well the District serves students under specific state guidelines and is used to determine a school district's accreditation.
The District received 138.5 out of 140 total points possible on the APR. This is the same as the 2016 score, and an increase from the previous three years (see table below).
"We are certainly proud of the high achievements of our students and the great work of our staff to support them," said Superintendent Dr. Kari Monsees. "As we celebrate American Education week, it is nice to receive outside confirmation from DESE that our district is performing well."
