School Board Recognition Week is Jan. 21-27. The goal is to build awareness and understanding of the important function an elected board of education plays in communities and schools.
All Missouri citizens are asked to recognize the contributions of these men and women and focus attention on the vital role they play in the education of our children. School Board members are elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their efforts.
Thanks to our Raymore-Peculiar School Board members: President Kim Bailey, Vice President Kim York, Paul Coffman, Maria Davies, Susan Edmonsond, Ruth Johnson, and Ryan Wescoat.
