Forty-one 6th and 7th graders in the Lifetime Sports classes at Ray-Pec South Middle School competed in an after-school archery tournament on Feb. 14. At the end of five rounds, Bryce Galtin finished 3rd with a score of 203. There was a tie for first place, so a final round of five arrows determined the winner. Korie Jaspersen finished in 2nd place with 232 points. The 2018 Archery Champion was Jaxon Sloan, with a score of 243. Special thanks to Randy Houser of BB Archery for donating a Mathews Genesis bow for a raffle. The winner of this year's raffle was Kyler Davidson.
