Some members of the Ray-Pec Student Leadership Team attended a MECA Challenge event on April 6 at the Sprint Accelerator. MECA Challenge is a one-day innovation competition, where students work in teams of seven with an entrepreneur mentor to solve a real-world problem. Students used their problem-solving skills to formulate ways to help in the area of mental illness. Students and administrators hope to use these strategies to improve the education of Ray-Pec students throughout the district.
