Ray-Pec High School students receive state journalism awards

The annual state journalism awards were announced at the end of March. Raymore Peculiar High School’s media students were recognized for their work throughout the 2017-18 year in high school publications. The state awards are held in conjunction with J-Day at the University of Missouri. Nearly 1,300 students and advisers attended the 49th annual J-Day celebration sponsored by the Missouri Interscholastic Press Association.

MIPA recognizes All-Missouri, Superior, Excellent and Honorable Mention work with certificates. MIPA judges chose roughly the top 10% of the entries to recognize as All-Missouri award winners.
