18 Ray-Pec singers have been selected to participate in the all-state youth honor choirs at the Missouri Choral Directors Association conference July 18-21 in Jefferson City. Hundreds of students from across the state audition for the opportunity to participate in the various all-state choirs.

Junior Isabelle Burton will represent Ray-Pec in the All-State Show Choir. She is the first Ray-Pec student to ever be selected for this choir.

Three students were selected to participate in the 9-10 Honor Choir. They are Freshmen Carinne Williams and Claire Eberhart and Sophomore Samuel Reicher.

Six students from Ray-Pec East Middle School have been selected to participate in the 7-8 Honor Choir: 8th graders Jacob Carpio and Addison Hansen; and 7th graders Miles Selami, Morgan Blair, Katie Barber, and Bailey Roe.

Eight students will represent Ray-Pec in the 4-5-6 Honor Choir. Mason Rew, a fifth grader at Creekmoor Elementary School, is the only elementary school student selected for the honor choirs. Seven 6th graders from Ray-Pec South Middle School were also selected. They are: Destinee Shaffer, Ellie Barker, Katelyn Hazen, LaNyah Taylor, Lexi Russell, Molly Malone, and Rett Wansing.
