The Raymore-Peculiar Council of PTAs announced Joyce Noah, left, as the 2018 Volunteer of the Year. The announcement came at a reception on April 26 to honor finalists.
Joyce has served as PTA president at Timber Creek Elementary, Eagle Glen, and the Middle School. She is the current treasurer of the PTA Council. She has also served on a number of PTA and District-wide planning committees.
The Volunteer of the Year award is one way the PTA Council recognizes exceptional volunteers throughout the district. In selecting the winners, the Council considers significant contributions, positive impact on the school, and special skills and qualities that the nominees bring to their volunteer work.
