Peculiar Elementary achieved "Touchdown School" status this spring after completing all 7 steps in the Fuel Up To Play 60 program.
This program helps schools analyze their physical activity and healthy eating programs to provide an opportunity for students to show leadership. This is a student-led program where they complete a wellness investigation and create an active play to promote movement and health around the school. This year our two student ambassadors were Bentlee Ritter and Kinsley Ritter. With the help of Digital Learning Teacher Tammy Novak, they created a commercial to advertise to students and staff the importance of brain breaks.
