The Panthers, with a record of 6-2, play their last regular game of the season at 7 p.m. tonight at Lee’s Summit West High School, 2600 SW Ward Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64082. Districts begin on Friday, Nov. 1, with the location dependent on the outcome of tonight’s games. Tonight’s football game is also being streamed live on 810varsity.com.
Ray-Pec will host the District 6 meet on Saturday morning at our home course behind Ray-Pec South Middle School. The boys team is projected to finish strong, led by Senior Braden Zaner, who has recorded the fastest time in our District. The boys race at 11 a.m. The girls team races at 11:35 a.m. and will be led by Senior Marissa Dick. The top four teams and 30 individuals from each race will qualify for the Sectional Race on Nov. 2 at Missouri Southern State University. Here’s a District preview from MoMileSplit.
With a sectional win over Webb City on Oct. 23, the Ray-Pec softball team advances to the Semifinals, and will play Kickapoo at 4 p.m. on MONDAY, Oct. 28, at Kickapoo High School, 3710 S. Volleyball finished its regular season last night at Park Hill. With a record of 14-13-2, the team travels to Warrensburg High School on Tuesday, Oct. 29, for the District 12 Tournament. Ray-Pec is scheduled to play Belton at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the tournament. Link to Class 4, District 12, tournament bracket.
Boys soccer will finish up its regular season at Blue Springs High School on Monday, Oct. 28. The junior varsity game begins at 5 p.m., and varsity at 6:30 p.m. District Soccer begins Nov. 4 at Lee’s Summit West. The Panthers are the #2 Seed and will play Carthage High School at 5:30 PM.
Boys swimming will compete in the Conference Championship meet on Nov. 1 and 2 at the Lee’s Summit Aquatics Center.
