Sixteen-year-old Brooke Law's success in bowling makes her a top contender in local, state, and national tournaments.
The Ray-Pec High School Junior is a 4-time Missouri State Pepsi champion in two divisions (U15/U17), and this year placed 31st at the national Junior Gold U17 Tournament. On Feb. 2, 2019, she bowled a perfect game (300).
She added to her lengthy bowling resume with more awards at the Oct. 20 Hall of Fame Banquet for the Greater Kansas City USBC (U.S. Bowling Congress):
• 2019 Youth Scholarship Winner
• 2019 Youth Female High Average Winner
• 2019 Willie Pollard Youth Bowler of the Year
At the moment, Brooke Law is focused on softball. She plays third base for the Ray-Pec High School Panthers, who are competing in the tournament for the state championship. Ray-Pec plays Kickapoo at 4 p.m. Oct. 28 in the quarterfinals.
But when softball season is over, she will return to competing in her other sport: bowling.
