Two students walking home from school on Tuesday, Aug. 23, reported suspicious activity from a person in a vehicle in the Foxhaven subdivision in Raymore. A parent filed a report with the Raymore Police Department, and police are seeking a white male in a black Nissan for questioning. According to police, there was no attempt to physically abduct the students. However, police are continuing to investigate.
This afternoon, the school district notified the principals at our elementary and intermediate schools and asked them to share this information with staff. The district also notified Apple Bus Company to ask drivers to watch for a person/vehicle matching this description.
