Ray-Pec High School’s production of The Foreigner has been selected as one of the three mainstage shows for this year's Missouri State Thespian Festival. Schools from around the state submitted bids for these three spots. At the festival, the show will be seen by more than 1,500 theatre teachers and students from around the state. It is a great opportunity and honor to be selected. Ray-Pec will perform on Friday, Jan. 6, at the festival, which will be held on the Missouri State University campus in Springfield. Ray-Pec theatre teachers and students have scheduled a special additional performance for the public. The show will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Ray-Pec High School. It's an opportunity for the cast and crew to perform the show again for an audience before they go perform at the festival. Tickets for that showing will be $5 for students and $6 for adults. Ray-Pec has not taken a mainstage show to the state festival for several years.
