Kindergartner Leia Patterson leads Ethan Pierce and others in mastering the hula hoop. The physical education classes at Shull Elementary School were visited by a physical activity trainer, Jean Hooper. She promoted “fitness made fun” with hula hoops. Students learned to use hula hoops as a means to be active.
