The Major Saver discount card fundraiser raised $32,360. Half of the money raised, or $16,180, goes to the Raymore-Peculiar Public School Foundation, which supports the school district in a variety of ways. The other half of the proceeds was divided among the participating elementary and intermediate schools, based on card sales. Students sold the cards, which offer discounts at area restaurants and businesses, for $10.
