The Ray-Pec Council of PTAs congratulates Tracy Caskey (center) as the 2012 Volunteer of the Year. Tracy was announced as the winner and honored at a reception on April 19, during National Volunteer Week. She is a valued volunteer at Peculiar Elementary School. The PTA Council received 22 letters nominating 14 people for the award. Other finalists for the award were: Kindra Boyd (Eagle Glen), Susan Burdge (Timber Creek), Karen Giudici (High School/Council), and Cathy Wansing (Peculiar). Others nominated were: Kim Bailey (RPEMS), Jackie Dorweiler (Timber Creek/Eagle Glen), Carol Holsman (RPEMS), Kellie Mudd (Creekmoor/Eagle Glen), Joyce Noah (Timber Creek), Julie Phillips (Creekmoor/Eagle Glen), Alicia Sandoval (High School/Council), Jennifer Silvy (Shull), and Shelly Sumler (Stonegate/Bridle Ridge).
The finalists were honored and the winner announced at a reception April 19 in the Board Room at the Administrative Services Center before the School Board meeting.
