Tribute to veterans
The third graders at Stonegate
Elementary School will present a tribute to veterans in our community at 7
p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the school. They will sing a patriotic music and
share interviews with local veterans during a multimedia presentation. All
local veterans are invited to attend as the students recognize them for their
service and commitment. If you know a veteran who would be interested in
sharing their story with us, please contact Melanie Coleman at
Stonegate Principal Doug Becker donates at the Oct. 20 blood drive at Raymore Elementary School. Raymore Nurse Kristin Alford coordinated a blood drive on Oct. 20 in honor of Ella Joe Johnston, a young Raymore girl with leukemia. Staff and families from Raymore Elementary School, Stonegate Elementary School and the Ray-Pec Early Childhood program attended the event. Donations totaled 11 units more than the goal! Ella Joe was scheduled to begin kindergarten this year at Stonegate Elementary.
