Parents as Teachers
About our program
PAT provides parent education for parents of children from birth to five years old. This voluntary, free program designed to help parents give their children the best possible start in life.
The Parents as Teachers program offers free developmental screenings to all families in the School District with children ages 4 months to 5 years. The screening is designed to give parents a clear picture of their child's strengths, weaknesses, and emerging skills in the areas of language, social-emotional, intellectual, and motor development. Screening is a quick and effective way to look at your child in comparison with other children his/her age. Call 816-892-1220 to schedule a time for a screening.
