Belton Basketball Tournament

Ray-Pec Special Olympians brought home three gold medals and one silver medal from the Jan. 5, 2019, tournament in Belton. The teams are now preparing for regional competition in February in Sedalia. Teams that place first and second at regionals will qualify for the state tournament in March in St. Joseph.

The Panther Cubs 3-on-3 Unified Team won a gold medal! In the back row: Unified Partner Dorico Hilliard, J'Qwan Blackman, Armon Davis, and Unified Partner Grant Hornbeck. The Panther Pride 3-on-3 Unified Team won a gold medal! Team Skills (Panthers)

The Team Skills team won a silver medal! Team members are: Grant Ewigman, Mallory Anderson, Sara Poe, Sabrina Peek, Paige Johnson, Carson Zaner, and Ella Raney.

2018 State Basketball Tournament

Ray-Pec Special Olympics athletes brought home the hardware from the March 17 state basketball tournament in St. Joseph - two teams won the gold, one team won silver, and one team won bronze medals!
