Five singers from Ray-Pec High School participated in the 2018-19 Missouri All-State Choir on Jan. 26 at Tan-Tar-A Resort.
Singers were selected in October for the honor. Ray-Pec broke a school record by earning 5 of 16 possible spots from among the 55 schools in the West Central District.
Additionally, Kathryn Clewell was selected as one of two soloists from the choir, and Gabby Sharp became the first RPHS student to participate in the All-State Sight-singing Bee.
Students worked with the world renowned conductor Anton Armstrong from St. Olaf.
