Football game moved to Thursday
Due to the forecast for storms on Friday night, the Ray-Pec Homecoming football game vs. Park Hill is being moved to 7 p.m. THURSDAY, Sept. 26. Admission is $5 for adults, and $3 for students. Residents ages 55 and older may show I.D. for free admission.
The Homecoming parade and pep assembly are also moved to Thursday. The high school will have a modified schedule to accommodate the parade and pep assembly. There will still be a late start as usual on Thursday morning. Spirit Days will be reversed - wear the Homecoming shirt or RPHS attire on Thursday. On Friday, the theme will be Safari Day.
Homecoming royalty candidates and recipients of the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award will be recognized during half-time at the football game.
The volleyball team is scheduled to host Park Hill on Thursday. Game times have CHANGED, with JV beginning at 4 p.m. and varsity at 5:30 p.m.
The Homecoming dance will take place as scheduled from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the high school. Tickets are $10 and are available for sale during high school lunch shifts this week, as well as at the door.
