Fourteen FBLA events qualify for state tournament

Congratulations to Ray-Pec High School Future Business Leaders of American (FBLA) on their performances at the District Tournament. Fourteen events qualified for the state tournament. Here are the individual results: 

  • Madison Priest, fifth place Business Ethics; second place in Business Law (state qualifier)
  • Bryce Brown, ninth place in Computer Applications; eighth place Computer Problem Solving
  • Caitlin Figge, fifth place in Economics (State qualifier); sixth place in Business Calculations (Wildcard - state qualifier)
  • Audrey Huffman, first place in Hospitality and Event Management (state qualifier); second place in Organizational Leadership (state qualifier); second place in Public Speaking
  • Mike Viermann, first place in Impromptu Speaking (state qualifier); fourth place in Political Science (state qualifier)
  • Colbey Stosberg, first place in Journalism (state qualifier)
  • Luke Voelker, first place in Organizational Leadership (state qualifier)
  • Khuram Choudhry, eighth place in Personal Finance (Wildcard - state qualifier); second place in Business Calculations (state qualifier)

Here are the team results:

  • Intan Putri, Colbey Stosberg, and Luke Voelker - first place in International Business (state qualifier)
  • Madison Priest and Intan Putri - second place in Marketing (Wildcard - state qualifier)
  • Aidan Martel, Blake Oser, and Luke Voelker - third place in Sports and Entertainment Management (Wildcard - state qualifier)
