On Friday, May 20, the Class of 2022 graduated from Ray-Pec High School!
Nolan Campbell was the valedictorian, and Leilany Zarco-Aguirre was the salutatorian.
Of the 470 graduates, 31 are Missouri George Washington Carver Top 10% students, and 15 are Bright Flight Scholars. Additionally, 23 earned the Seal of Biliteracy, and 157 are A+ students.
Ten graduates are candidates for the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Another 54 course candidates took at least one IB class, and many took two or three IB classes. In all, Ray-Pec students took 116 IB exams over the last three weeks.
As a group, the Class of 2022 has qualified for and/or earned the potential of $1,476,746 in tuition and fee savings for the first year of college. Because many of the awards are renewable for multiple years, the Class of 2022 can potentially receive scholarship money totaling $2,912,929 if accepted and renewed.
