Carter Younger was this week’s National Honor Society Ten Dollar Tuesday Winner. Carter is involved in Cross Country, Track, NHS, SLT, Theatre, Forensics & Debate. He said that his favorite subject is math and his favorite teachers are Coach Eve, Dane Schnake and retired teacher Todd Schnake. When asked about one of his favorite things about this year, Carter said that through the R & R incisive he can see a positive change within the school and he is excited to see the return of Panther Time and the choices of the different activities lined out by our staff to help put a little fun into the school day.

With a 1-0 extra inning victory over the weekend, your Ray-Pec Lady Panthers Softball team advances to the semifinals of the State Tournament!
They will take on Blue Springs South High School in Killian Sports Complex on October 26th at 12 pm. Congratulations ladies!

What a season it was!
Girls' Golf 🏌️♀️ competed at the State Tournament and finished 6th as a team - one of the best team finishes in school history. Addie Swan's T23 and Sam Larkins' T30 finishes led the way. McKenna Raymond T56, Celia Barber T72, and Ansley Harper T88 also competed in the two day tournament at Silo Ridge Golf Course in Bolivar, MO and had very impressive seasons.

Attention parents and students! A friendly reminder that there will be no school for students on Monday, October 23rd. Our dedicated staff members will be using this day for collaboration and planning to continue the successful academic year for all.
Don't worry, students - you'll get a well-deserved day off to relax or catch up on homework. The Panther Pride Marching Band invites everyone to tonight's Glow Show at Panther Stadium. The Panther Pride Marching Band will perform with the stadium lights off, but the kids will be all aglow! It's a pretty cool sight to see. Oh, and!!!! The trombones and drumline will be doing their football sideline performance too!
It's our annual event we hold for the community to help Ray-Pec's C.A.N. program. Please consider donating a food item or personal hygiene product at the gate as your ticket in, though it is not required.

The District 7 Volleyball Tournament begins today in Lee’s Summit. Ray-Pec is the #3 seed in the tournament. The Panthers will face the Lee’s Summit Tigers at 6 p.m. Oct. 19 at Lee’s Summit West High School. Orchestra experts came to work with the students on their All-District materials. The students got to work in sectionals with Kansas City Symphony members that play their specific instrument! What a great day to be a Ray-Pec Orchestra member and team up with these community mentors!

With a 5-0 win over Neosho, the Lady Panthers Softball team are the 2023 District 7 Champions! 🏆 They advance to the state quarterfinals where they will HOST Liberty High School on October 21st.

The Panther Pride Marching Band had a great weekend of performances this weekend at the Odessa Marching Invitational. In the category of indoor performances the drumline earned 1st place and the color guard earned 2nd place. In the outdoor field show performance the Panther Pride earned 1st in field show, Outstanding Music, Outstanding Visual, and Outstanding Effect. Our drum majors, Riley Zimmerman & Arianna Cooper earned the Outstanding Drum Major Award! It was a great weekend! Please give the marching band kids a high five!
