Compass Health Partnership
The Raymore-Peculiar School District has a partnership with Compass Health Network to expand mental health supports for students. Under the agreement, two licensed therapists provide therapy services at school to Medicaid-eligible students who qualify based on school-based need.
Ray-Pec’s mental health professionals oversee the referral process, which includes parental approval. The services may include screenings/evaluations, brief interventions, therapy, and consultation services for mental health treatment. The District will provide space for the therapy sessions. Expanding mental health supports for students is an important action step in the District’s Strategic Plan.
