We are saddened to share the news of a death in the Ray-Pec family.
Paul Lichtenauer, a teacher at the Ray-Pec Academy and the newly-opened LEAD Center, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022. We do not have details to share at this time about the cause of death.
Mr. Lichtenauer joined the Ray-Pec staff in 2109. He was well-liked by students and fellow staff members. In his short time at Ray-Pec, he led projects to incorporate more hands-on and real world learning into classrooms. Our world is poorer today due to Paulโs passing.
Counselors will be available for staff and students. We will share funeral arrangements when they are available.
