Miss Clark, our art teacher, requested students to make their own renditions of Poppy Fields based on the meaning of Mr. John McCrae's poem, In Flanders Field, in honor of Veterans Day. This poem came to represent the sacrifice of all who fought in World War I, as well as the transition between life's struggle and the peace that follows.
