Today's the day! Congratulations to the Raymore-Peculiar Class of 2024! 🧑🎓
Tonight's ceremony will be streamed on our YouTube channel here: youtube.com/@ray-pecschooldistrict/streams

Only two more days!! 🧑🎓😱
During the first semester, a group of students from the Raymore-Peculiar Academy participated in a Landscaping Design Lab. These students presented their ideas to faculty and staff, with a winning concept being selected. Thanks to a grant from the Raymore-Peculiar Foundation, the project is now coming to fruition this spring as students complete the final stages, including planting flowers. We are excited to continue to utilize this newly designed space in the future.
Thank you to Chef Bret from OBR who came to RPA again to cook with our students. They always learn so much from him and the food was delicious!
Thank you to all who attended our RPA Showcase to show support for our students. The event was a significant success, and we are extremely proud of the achievements of our learners!

Congratulations to the Ray-Pec Volunteer of the Year, LeeAnne Thompson! The award was announced during a reception on April 23.
Affectionately known as “the uniform mom,” LeeAnne has taken on the daunting task of uniforms for the marching band, and handled the task to perfection! She ensures that all band members (approx. 120) are fitted with their uniform, dressed properly and oftentimes staying later than the band directors to get everything done. She helped move props during practices and performances, handled uniform malfunctions with ease, wiped away countless tears, and most importantly - knew every child in the band. She knew their name, their instrument, their grade in school, and took time to listen to them and make each of them feel important. This is LeeAnne’s final year with the marching band, and she will be missed next year!
Finalists for Volunteer of the Year were honored at a reception last night. They are pictured with PTA Council President Jodi Price.
