At our August Board of Education meeting, we had the honor of recognizing several outstanding groups of students in the Ray-Pec family for a remarkable achievement.
Raymore-Peculiar High School is proud to celebrate being recognized this summer as a School of Distinction by Jostens Renaissance. This honor was awarded due to the hard work of our students in the RPHS Leadership class, Student Senate, and Student Leadership Team. Out of the 182 schools that were awarded nationwide, Raymore-Peculiar High School was the only school in the state of Missouri to win this award for the 2026 school year.
“Receiving the recognition as a School of Distinction means so much to me as a sponsor because I see the work and energy these students put into making Ray-Pec High School a great place to be for students and staff,” said Student Leadership Sponsor Emily Craig.
“Whether it is giving a gold star to a staff member who makes a difference, recognizing students who show growth throughout the year, organizing fun school wide events, celebrating the birthdays of everyone in our building, or even just greeting everyone with a smile as they walk in the door, our kids care about Ray-Pec High School and more importantly, they care about the people of Ray-Pec High School. This award is going to motivate us going forward to be better each year, and continue to set new goals that continue to support a positive school culture for everyone.”
The Jostens Renaissance School of Distinction recognition was created to celebrate schools that are making a positive impact on school climate and culture through executing the Renaissance Results Formula.™
