RPHS singers selected for All-State Choir

On Oct. 22, Ray-Pec High School juniors and seniors who were selected for the West Central All-District Choir auditioned for the Missouri All-State Choir. For the 30+ schools in the West Central District who had students selected for the All-District Choir, there are only 24 spots in the All-State Choir. This includes four for each voice part and two alternates. This is the highest honor a singer can receive in the state of Missouri.

Seven Ray-Pec students were selected for the All-State Choir. Over the previous five years, Ray-Pec has claimed 38 All-State spots.

Selected singers include:

  • Soprano - Jillian Collum, Bailey Roe, Emily Miller (1st Alternate), Brooklyn Burk (2nd Alternate)

  • Altos - Hannah Moroney

  • Tenor -  Dalton Ballinger, Xander Blackmon (2 year member)

Additionally, this year there is another level of recognition. These singers received All-State Honorable Mention:

  • Soprano - Leticia Turner

  • Alto - Tallie Scott

  • Bass - David Marin, Miles Sellami
