Band Teacher Kent Lineberry received a $726 grant to purchase an electronic drum system. Lineberry works with students at East Middle School, South Middle School, the Ninth Grade Center, and the High School.

Jessica Young, LEAP Teacher at East Middle School and South Middle School, received a $121 grant to purchase supplies for team building and collaboration. LEAP is the program for gifted learners in the Ray-Pec School District. Young was absent when the Surprise Patrol arrived, so East Middle School Assistant Principal Wendell Pritchett accepted the award on her behalf. He is pictured holding the giant check.
