Three South Middle School students were among 15 singers who represented the Raymore-Peculiar School District last week at the Southwestern American Choral Directors Association Honor Choir

Three South Middle School students were among 15 singers who represented the Raymore-Peculiar School District last week at the Southwestern American Choral Directors Association Honor Choirs in Denver, Colorado.  Pictured above are: Hailey Chang, Kennady Smith, and Ky Price.

Singers were selected from recorded auditions in the fall against the top singers in seven states.

  • These students participated in the 7-9 Treble Honor Choir: Austin Butterworth (EMS), Delaney Burk (NGC), Amari Russell (NGC), Lydia Littlejohn (NGC), Hailey Chang (SMS), Elyssa Garumann (NGC), Isla Harper (EMS), Ruslana Trpkosh (EMS), and Kennady Smith (SMS).

  • James (Ky) Price from South Middle School participated in the 7-9 Tenor Bass Honor Choir.
