Senior Citizens in front of the Integrated Learning House

Residents from Foxwood Springs Senior Living recently visited Ray-Pecโ€™s Integrated Learning House for a meaningful intergenerational experience filled with connection, curiosity, and joy.

During the visit, students served as tour guides for this one-of-a-kind learning environment, sharing what theyโ€™re learning to cook and explaining how they select the household items that make the space feel like a homeโ€”from kitchen tools to bedroom and living room essentials. Each choice gives students the opportunity to practice real-life decision-making and build independence.

The visit concluded with a lively game of bingo, where students and seniors exchanged smiles, conversations, and plenty of laughterโ€”demonstrating that learning and friendship truly have no age limit.

Moments like these matter. They build confidence, empathy, and a lasting sense of belonging for everyone involved.
