A man in a white suite sits in front of a blue device while getting green slime dumped on his head.

Bridle Ridge Elementary kicked off winter break with a celebration students wonโ€™t forget, thanks to a community-wide effort that turned determination into a seriously fun payoff

In the months leading up to break, students, staff, and families worked together toward a school-wide fundraising goal โ€” and they didnโ€™t just meet it, they crushed it.

Because they reached their goal, Superintendent Dr. Mike Slagle kept his promise and bravely stepped into the slime spotlight. As the moment approached, the gym echoed with excited chants of โ€œSlime him! Slime him!โ€ before students made it happen. Laughter, cheers, and pure joy filled the room, celebrating not just the slime but the teamwork, generosity, and school pride that made the moment possible.

Congratulations to the Bridle Ridge community for coming together to support a great cause and for creating a memory students will be talking about for a long time!
