The Raymore-Peculiar community has approved Proposition RP, the districtโs $45 million no-tax-rate-increase bond proposal focused on safety, student opportunities and taking care of our existing facilities.
According to unofficial election results, the measure received 69.65% yes votes.
โWe are deeply grateful for the trust our community continues to place in Ray-Pec and in the future of our students,โ Superintendent Dr. Mike Slagle said. โThank you to our voters, families, staff and community members who took time to learn about Proposition RP and participate in the election.โ
Board President Ruth Johnson added, โThis vote is about creating safe, supportive and future-ready spaces where every student can thrive. Thank you for your trust and continued support.โ
Projects will be planned and phased over time based on priorities, timelines and available funding. The district will continue to share updates with families and the community as timelines are finalized.
