We are proud to announce that Morgan Burks, an 8th grader at South Middle School, has been selected to compete in the 2026 Missouri Girls Volleyball All-State Gameโan honor she has now earned two years in a row after being nominated by Coach Nikki Mackay.
Morgan secured a spot on the team both years thanks to her strong character, commitment, and ability to compete at a high level. While the 2025 games were canceled, she is excited to finally take the court this year.
Morgan served as the starting setter for South Middle School and is looking forward to continuing her volleyball career at the high school level. In addition to school volleyball, she competes with the MAVS KC 14-National Team, further showcasing her dedication to the sport
The Missouri Girls Volleyball All-State Game will take place June 5โ7, 2026, at MidAmerica Nazarene University, where top athletes from across the state of Missouri come together for training, competition, and recognition.
