Over the weekend, in their first ever competition, the RP Flag Football won the Regional Championship at Arrowhead Stadium to earn a berth to compete in the National Flag Championships in Canton, Ohio! Sabrina Shakes was game MVP! π

After winning their opening game of the River City Festival Tournament, Baseball travels to Lawrence High School this morning for a double header! They'll take on Arkansas City High School at 9:00 am before turning around the play Olathe West at 11:15.

Every year, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Wichita State University gives out The Wheaties awards. Two Panthers are represented this year. Miranda Dick is a finalist for Female Breakthrough Athlete of the Year, and Hudson Bailey is a finalist for Male Breakthrough Athlete of the Year AND Scholar Athlete of the Year. Winners will be announced April 22.

Ray-Pec middle school students attending BoysGrow educational farm worked with the construction team over the past six months to create a custom coffee table from reclaimed barnwood. Using innovation, critical thinking and collaboration, this unique piece of functional art was purchased by a sponsor. Next year, the class is planning to create another functional piece to auction at the Ray-Pec Foundation Gala. The BoysGrow educational farm program serves as an example of what students can accomplish through creativity, hard work and mentorship.

2024 Ray-Pec Summer School enrollment is OPEN! Elementary and middle school students will attend Monday through Thursday, June 3 to 27. (As June 19 is a holiday, students will attend on Friday, June 21.) High School students will attend Monday through Friday, June 3 to 28. No classes will be in session on June 19.
