The SMFD fire marshal visited all elementary school second graders to discuss fire safety as part of fire prevention week. [Don’t forget to visit Johnny’s Tavern Raymore October 1st-16th so your elementary school-aged child can fill out a home safety plan and win a gift card!]
Additionally, 1st-grade students at Raymore Elementary heard all about what it is like to be a Police Officer and School Resource Officer from our SRO, Officer Stephanie Hornbeck.
Both visitors were part of the Community Helpers research project.
Thank you both so much for sharing with us!
