Good luck to the Ray-Pec girls tennis team as they compete in the Class 3, District 6, championship today!
Ray-Pec defeated Lee’s Summit West, 5-0, on Tuesday, and advanced to play Lee’s Summit High School at 4 p.m. today in the championship match.
Congrats to the boys cross country teams for their performances at the Grain Valley "Sock It To Cancer" Invitational. In a meet with over 40 schools, Varsity and JV both came away with the overall team championships in their divisions. The following medalists played important roles in these championships:

Another 1st for Ray-Pec girls tennis! Seniors Peyton Koper & Shannon Finn advanced to district finals in singles, & both will go on to state. Peyton is district champ, & Shannon is runner up. This is the 1st time Ray-Pec to qualifies 2 singles players for state in the same year.

Ray-Pec School Nurses and support teams completed Mental Health First Aid training last week.
The Ray-Pec Softball Team has been selling T-shirts and bracelets to raise money for Athletes Against Anxiety and Depression. The team’s charity game is today (Sept. 27) when Ray-Pec hosts Blue Springs. Shirts ($15) & bracelets ($1) will be available for purchase at the game.

Congrats to the varsity girls tennis team that won the Belton invitational tournament on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Peyton Koper and Isabella deLeon won A-flight doubles, Naomi Ropp won B-flight singles, and Shannon Finn won A-flight singles.
